AVS Employment
An ideal candidate would have experiences in computers, using programs such as Outlook, MS Office, Networking and general computer usage. One must possess strong communication skills with team members as well as customers, be able to troubleshoot problems and resolve them, work alone without supervision or as a team to complete a project on-time and within the allotted budget.
CCTV
- be able to install analog/IP cameras such as fixed, dome, and PTZ
- understand the wiring concept of all analog/IP cameras
- have at least basic understanding of remote viewing of DVRs/NVRs
- have at least basic understanding of networking and IP
Alarm Systems
- Be able to install basic sensors such as door/window contacts, motion and glassbreak detectors
- understand the wiring behind each wiring and EOL
Audio/Video
- be able to install TVs using wall/ceiling and articulating mounting brackets
- be able to install speakers, in-wall, in-ceiling, and outdoor
- understanding of 8 Ω speaker systems along with 70/25V systems
Access Control Systems
- basic understanding of an access control system and its functionality
- being able to wire/install card readers, electric strikes, magnetic door locks and etc.
- basic understanding of computers and IP
Fire Alarm Systems
- a fire license is a plus
- in-depth understanding of fire alarm systems including, NAC and SLC circuits, Class A and B wiring
- programming of fire alarm panels such as
- Silent Knight
- FireLite
- in-depth understand of blueprints and diagrams along with wiring gauge
